Davidson’s First Pocket Neighborhood
Categories: Davidson NC, News & Updates
John Marshall Custom Homes is creating Davidson’s first pocket neighborhood, featuring historically inspired cottage homes, lots of green space and great proximity to downtown Davidson. Pocket neighborhoods are unique communities that have been very successful across the country, and we are proud to be the first such community in not only Davidson but all of North Carolina.
Our pocket neighborhood features 15 homes, ranging in size from 1500 square feet to 2500 square feet. All have the details that John Marshall Custom Homes is known for: large front porches, historic touches, great moldings and of course all of the homes will be Energy Star and LEED certified. Pricing will range from the mid 300s to the mid 500s depending upon size and finishes.
Four homes will front Delburg Street, with the other 11 fronting a common park that runs throughout the entire neighborhood. Gardens, pedestrian paths, a commons building and exquisite landscaping will encourage a sense of community. For a presentation about this exciting community, please click here.
If you’re looking for a 2 acre lot and a 3 car garage, this neighborhood is not for you. But if you want a high quality home and a strong sense of community within an easy walk to downtown Davidson, the Community School of Davidson, Our Town Cinemas, Harris Teeter, the Brick House and other great places, give us a look.
As of April 2016, all lots in our pocket neighborhood have been sold. Contact us if you’re interested in future opportunities in the Davidson area. Thank you.
