Davidson Farmers Market

The Davidson Farmer’s Market (DFM) is a producer-only, year-round market featuring more than 35 farmers and local producers from within a 100 mile radius. The market is a lively gathering place for meeting friends and for learning about food, agriculture and nutrition.  The market is held behind Summit Coffee, just a five minute walk from Davidson Springs, John Marshall Custom Home’s neighborhood in the heart of downtown Davidson.

Growers and producers are on hand to answer your questions, from “How was this grown?” to “How can I reduce my carbon footprint?” The local producers at the market include farms, nurseries, bakeries, meat and poultry providers, and specialty foods producers; no distributors or resellers.

The DFM includes a variety of quality goods, such as certified organic, naturally grown and conventionally grown fruits and vegetables, grass fed beef, pastured pork, eggs from free-range chickens, fresh baked goods, prepared foods, fresh cut flowers, herbs, and bedding plants and more.

Visit the Davidson Farmers Market the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, from 9 a.m. – noon, in November and December and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., January through April. Chef demonstrations, musical entertainment and educational activities are planned throughout the season.
