Davidson Tiny Home!

John Marshall Custom Homes is excited to announce that we will be building a “tiny home” in the heart of downtown Davidson. Located on James Alexander Way, this home will check in at just over 900 square feet but will live much larger than that. The main level (see the link to download the floor plan below) features a living room, dining area, and a well thought out kitchen in addition to a powder room and a drop zone. Off of the dining room will be an outdoor patio, and there is an option for a detached accessory structure which can be living space, or outdoor storage.

On the second level is a full bedroom with a full bathroom, as well as a loft/media room and another half bathroom with a stacked washer and dryer unit. Finally, a 3rd level loft is accessible via a ship’s ladder to provide additional sleeping space or just a place to chill out.

It seems that every new home in downtown Davidson is listing for nearly $3 million or even more. At under $600,000, the ‘tiny home’ will be a unique offering in downtown Davidson. But, even though the price is lower than our typical homes, the level of quality and finish will not be. In fact, you’ll find all of the same features and finishes that you’ll find in our larger, much more expensive homes.

Located on James Alexander Way, the ‘tiny home’ is within a five-minute walk of downtown Davidson, and even closer than that to the excellent Davidson K-8 school. Speaking of schools, James Alexander Way is in the Davidson K-8, Bailey Middle School, and Hough High School district, providing access to some of the finest public schools in CMS, as well as several nearby charter and private school options.

Download the plans here, and please contact Melissa Graham at 704-756-6540 for additional information. NOTE: This is a proposed plan. Other plans may be developed, but they must fit within the footprint of this home which has already been approved by the Town of Davidson.
