John Marshall Custom Homes of Davidson is pleased to announce a new phase of its popular Davidson Springs neighborhood in the heart of downtown Davidson. This new phase will feature 15 single family homes, with a variety of home sizes and prices. NOTE: As of November 2021, all lots have been sold!
The single family homes (see below for additional information) will range in size from about 2,000 square feet up to 4,000 square feet, with several of the homes on basement foundations which offer the opportunity for additional finished space, up to about 6,000 square feet in total. Most homes will have an attached 2 car garage, although one lot will feature a detached garage which could have an apartment above it.
Davidson Springs is located near the intersection of Walnut Street and Spring Street. It is a five minute walk to downtown Davidson, and even closer to Davidson K-8 School and attractions at South Main Square such as Carrburritos, the Davidson Ice House and Whit’s Frozen Custard.

Single Family Homes:
Lot 1 (THIS LOT IS SOLD!)- this lot fronts Walnut Street, and it is adjacent to 518 Walnut Street. This lot will feature a house on a crawl space of up to 3,200 square feet, plus a detached two car garage which can have finished space above it if desired. The lot cost is $259,000, and the “all in” cost for this house, including the lot, will likely be between $950,000 and $1,000,000 depending on size and finish options. Lots 2 and 3
Lots 2 and 3 will front an extension of James Alexander Way. The new homes to be built will be similar in size to the existing homes at 625 and 631 James Alexander Way. Total pricing will be in the upper $600,000s. A basement option is available which could add up to an additional 750 square feet of heated space. Lots 4 through 8
Lots 4 through 8 will front the ‘downhill’ side of James Alexander Way, and will have larger homes on basement foundations, and will include a two car attached garage. The homes will be between 3,000 and 5,000 heated square feet, and there is also an opportunity to finish out additional space in the basement. Click here for a sample house plan. Total pricing for these homes will be around $950,000 to $1,100,000+ depending on size and finish. Lots 9 through 14
Lots 9 through 14 will be at the lower end of Walnut Street, in the area of McEver Field, and only a 200 yard walk to Davidson K-8 School. These homes will be about 1,720 square feet, and will feature a drive under basement with parking for two cars, as well as the opportunity to finish an additional 600 +/- square feet. These floor plans will be similar to what we have built in our pocket neighborhood off of Delburg Street, with the addition of a basement foundation.
