The ‘Concerts on the Green’ are a popular free summer concert series held on the Village Green in downtown Davidson.  Beginning in May with the Davidson College Symphony and Jazz Ensemble, these concerts are held every other week on Sunday evenings, and typically end in mid-September with a reprise performance of the college ensemble.

Concerts on the Green feature nationally known acts such as The Band of Oz, as well as Beatles and Billy Joel tribute bands, and also local bands such as Billy Jones and The Pocket and The Rusty Knox Band.

Come enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Concerts on the Green.  Blankets and picnics abound, and beer and wine is permitted (and when you live within a five minute walk you don’t need to worry about driving home).  Local restaurants such as the Soda Shop and FlatIron are located nearby, and some restaurants also serve food on the green.

Concerts on the Green is just another great attraction located within a five minute walk of Davidson Springs.
