Davidson is a special town, especially around the holidays. Christmas in Davidson is a three day event in early December replete with holiday festivities. Santa camps out in Davidson for three nights, as does his wife Mrs. Claus. Horse drawn carriages go up and down Main Street, and music and the smells of the holidays fill the air.
This video is from Davidson Elementary School’s holiday musical. Over one hundred second and third graders took part in songs that celebrated not only Christmas, but other holiday traditions as well. John Marshall Custom Homes contributed time and materials to help build set pieces for this production.
If you note that one child is getting an inordinate amount of video time, that’s because he is my son. He was born around Christmas, and is one of the reasons this is a special season.
